About village
At 23 km aport from Sibiu, on the Sibiel`revier, covered at the egde of Cibin Mountains, the village goes on his history
in an ancient natural beauty of culture and Romanian tradition.
The
unwritten history of thes village starts in Neolithic with the relies founded
in the area of the village and kept in the museum of the village.
You can reach the village from DN 1 Sibiu – Sebes Alba on two ways:
either crossing the Cristian ( commune ) and
at beginning of Sacel village you turn left to Sibiel ( there is a
good road/way, suitable for cars )
or from
Cristian you turn left on 106 D from DN 1, you cross Orlat and before Sibiel
flag station, you turn left towards Sibiel.
The nearest station is the Sibiel flag station 2.5 – 3 km.
The most near airport, Sibiu at 23 km from Sibiel.
The demurrage of the pension
If you
decide to visit Sibiel village, during holydays or weekends, we would offer the
services of our pension, where you can rest, have natural products meals, we
also can guide an accompany you in different trips to see the sights around the
village.
It
has two levels, ground floor and attic. We also have a large dinning
room where you can eat and taste traditional good, cooked with natural
products, fresh and got from the native households.
